Tricia Masi, engaged!
The future Mr. & Mrs. Agrawal in Nov. 2013!
This past March, we celebrated Tricia Masi's and Atul Masa's engagement in Houston with a pooja ceremony at home and a reception afterwards at Madras Pavillion!
Krish was so excited to celebrate Tricia Masi and Atul Masa's engagement! He had such a blast with all the family members who came to town for the event. He learned how to play Uno for the first time (his first card game), and he loved it! Everyone had so much fun playing it with him, too! Every time he had one card left, he thought he was supposed to touch it to his nose while saying Uno. It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. Being such big fans of games ourselves, Daddy and I were excited to see him enjoying this new game so much!

Our trip marked Arjun's first visit to Houston and also the first time many relatives were meeting him. The three days of family fun and festivities got a bit overwhelming for him by the last night, and we unfortunately missed some of the reception program. Overall, however, he had a great time and was also very happy to meet some of his family members for the very first time!
Celebrating Dadi's Birthday together after the Engagement Party.
Of special note at the party was that Krish did very well without Daddy and Mama under Tanya Masi's care and had a blast MCing the program with her! He definitely loves the mic! He also gave an amazing performance dancing to Chammak Chalo for everyone at the house before the ceremony, and everyone loved it!
Needless to say, we had an amazing time celebrating Tricia Masi and Atul Masa and spending some great time with family together!
Krish recently got his teeth checked and cleaned at Nilay Kaka's brand new, state-of-the-art dental office. Krish was excited to see Nilay Kaka there, and wasn't he a great patient for him? He did an awesome job getting his teeth cleaned!
Everybody loves making Arjun laugh, especially Krish! Everyone also has their own unique way of doing it! Here are two videos that have Krish Bhai cracking Arjun up! So adorable!
Singing his favorite song to his baby brother! Chaiya Chaiya, just like his Daddy!
Arjun in the bath this evening! He loves his bath time!
Arjun turned 7 months old today! He is growing up way too fast! With two kids in the family, it feels like we live such a fast-paced life-style now. We are always very busy, and there is always something to do! Among this fast-paced life-style, Arjun is growing up before our very eyes! He is so much fun and so interactive! He is also incredibly active just like his big brother was at this age. We called Krish our little wiggle-worm and that is exactly how we'd describe Arjun now. You will rarely ever see him sit still. As soon as you pick him up, he will try to wiggle out of your arms to crawl around on the floor. Every time I do a diaper change, I have to give him something to play with in his hands to keep him from rolling over and crawling (scooting/army crawling since he's not quite crawling yet) right off the mat. He is so curious and loves exploring his world around him. He especially loves watching Krish Bhai and is very much ready to do exactly what Krish Bhai does. You can tell he can't wait to play with his big brother! In the meantime, he enjoys lots of love, hugs, and cuddles from him though. Bath time is definitely still one of Arjun's favorite times of day, and he loves when you make funny faces/noises at him because he loves to laugh and giggle! He really is our smiley bear, and we love him so much!
Arjun "Schooching" at 7 Months
In terms of his adjustment to solid food since the introduction at six months, he has pretty much loved everything we've fed him! He started with spinach and was luke warm to it, but he loved green beans, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. He surprisingly did not like bananas! We were not expecting this since bananas are a sweet fruit and something Krish absolutely loved at six months! In fact, bananas were the only food Krish loved at six months! In addition to his veggies, Arjun is always trying to grab and eat table food! He wants everything he sees us eating (i.e. bread, cereal, etc.). This is also not what we experienced with Krish. Arjun is a total foodie! It is very interesting to see how different two brothers can be!
In the Bumbo, ready to try his next new solid!
Little messy, but he loved broccoli!
We love watching our boys grow and can't wait to see what future developments bring for us to witness and appreciate. We are very blessed!
In March, Krish started swim lessons again since we moved from Houston. Krish loves swimming and the water, and we all couldn't wait for him for start lessons again! He is definitely enjoying his lessons and learning quite a bit! He is learning how to float on his back, kick his legs to swim, cup his hands while doing the arm strokes to swim, and blow bubbles in the water to help with the breathing technique while swimming. At the end of each class, they also do a fun activity like ride in a canoe, play water basketball or water ring toss!

Proud Daddy! We've come such a long way since
our Mommy & Me/Daddy & Me classes when he was 2!
Such a big boy now becoming such a good swimmer!
More back float practice!
He has also advanced so quickly! In March he began with Level 3, as a Starfish, and now he is in Level 4 - a Seahorse! He is improving his skills every week and although some of the lessons are more challenging now, he does not get discouraged! For instance, he worries a little while doing the back float, but he still looks forward to learning the techniques. It hasn't happened yet, but Daddy and I are really looking forward to going swimming with Krish this summer and practicing what he's learned!
So proud! Krish graduated to the next level! Now he's a Seahorse!
As spring arrived, we were all very excited to spend some time outdoors and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Neil had been wanting to take the kids to a brand new park that was recently built in Dallas called Klyde Warren Park. It is a beautiful park made for all kinds of outdoor entertainment. There are play structures and fountains for the kids, food trucks, live bands, walking trails, and lots of green and yellow tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your food. It is a very popular park in the city and always very crowded! After living in San Francisco, it is nice to see something like this built out here in Dallas! It reminds us of Delores Park, one of our favorite parks in San Francisco.
We all really enjoyed the food trucks for the first time too! Daddy and Dada's favorite was the Vietnamese taco truck. The tacos were definitely something new and tasty for us to try!
Krish wasn't into the food as much, but he was so happy to be able to play at the park! He absolutely loves water, and when he saw the kid's fountain area, he could not resist going in and splashing around in it! Since this was our first time here, we had no idea to bring a change of clothes for him. Unfortunately, he got considerably wet in what he was wearing. However, it made no difference to him, because he had a blast!

in the fountains.
Daddy caught some amazing footage this morning that has had he and I cracking up all morning long! If you know about Krish's love for Journey the way we do, you will appreciate this as well! Our little monkey-rock star! He was totally in the zone. I can't wait to show him this video when he gets older!
When Arjun was three months old, he loved seeing Daddy come home from work, and he loved having conversations with him! They were the cutest things I had ever seen!
In the video below, I love how Krish is giving responses in the background!
Every time Ba comes over to play with the boys, they definitely have a blast with her! They do so many different and unique activities together from saving up money to donate to charity and playing games to cooking with her! She always brings a new snack for Krish to try and a surprise! Krish has now become accustomed to asking her, "What did you bring for me, Ba?" every time he sees her at the front door! Krish definitely likes eating Ba's yummy cooking for dinner, and Arjun currently enjoys it when she feeds him solids. Just this week, she actually got Krish to try new vegetables he was skeptical of before including, eggplant and squash! He's getting there, Ba! Soon he will be open to all different cuisines! Overall, both boys really enjoy spending time with her!

Another big celebration in February was Valentine's Day! We began the festivities by having all our Texas Tots friends over to make a Valentine's craft present for all the daddies! All the tots had a blast painting their heart frames and stamping some toilet paper roll heart stamps on them! Krish enjoyed the craft as well and made two very different and creative frames. I am so proud of him! I love watching him get crafty! Inside the frame, we put a picture of the tot with their daddy. Everyone's frame turned out very cute!

On Valentine's Day, Krish had a Valentine's Class Party at his preschool that Mama and Daddy both got to attend as well! There were lots of yummy treats and snacks to enjoy with the whole class, and it was fun mingling with and getting to know some of Krish's classmates and their parents!
My sweet Valentine!
Krish also got quite a few Valentines from all his friends in class in his own little mailbox! He enjoyed opening them up with Daddy and Mama when we got home from his party.
My other sweet Valentine! Mama's so lucky!
Later that evening, we all took a fun family walk together around our neighborhood in the beautiful weather. Mama got to enjoy Krish's new wagon with him while Arjun enjoyed snuggling up to Daddy in his carrier! Dada also had fun pulling Krish around in his "little red wagon"! We definitely had quite a fun-filled and eventful Valentine's this year!
