Arjun's Favorite Song!

Arjun's favorite song is still "Happy Birthday" and has been for at least a month!  He always sings it first thing in the morning when he wakes up and is in a good mood.  He has gotten so good at it too!  He sings all the lines in such perfect tune, and it is so sweet to hear him sing the high notes in the third line as well!  He also pretends to blow at the candle at the end of the song too.  It is all so incredibly cute!  I just heard him singing it again this morning and had to post this video Daddy caught of him last weekend.  He can't say many more words than Mama, Dada, ball, cracker, hi, Ba, Daddy, and yummy, but he sure can sing the words to "Happy Birthday"! I bet he can't wait to celebrate the next family member's birthday with a real cake and candles!

Daddy Loves Taking Arjun on his Buggy!

Daddy cherishes the time he gets to spend with the boys on the weekend, and one of his favorite activities with Arjun is taking him for a ride around our neighborhood in his buggy.  I think they usually go to the lake to feed the ducks or the playground, but I'm sure each outing is a new adventure
for them!

Arjun loves this buggy we borrowed from our neighbors.  He wants to ride in it everyday!  I definitely think we're going to have to find one of  our own!

Mustang Park with my Boys!

When the weather is nice, we definitely take advantage.  Here is a typical activity we like to do on the weekdays.  Kids sure love parks and being outdoors!

Projects with Krish!

During the winter, it was nice to have projects planned for Krish when we had to be indoors.  Since one of his favorite activities is playing with play-dough, we recently took on a project of making our own play-dough at home!  We love finding DIY projects for kids on Pinterest and luckily found a wonderful homemade play-dough recipe we could use! At 4 years old, certain projects, such as this one, are really enjoyable for him.  Just like in baking, Krish really enjoys doing as much as he can independently, such as measuring and incorporating each ingredient all by himself (gives us a chance to discuss math and the measurements), mixing the ingredients by himself (fine and gross motor skills), cooking the play-dough on the stove with Mama's supervision (cooking exposure and skills), dividing up the cooked and cooled play-dough in equal parts to make different colors (more math), and finally adding color and molding the dough.  In baking, he loves measuring and mixing the ingredients, and he also loves using cookie cutters to make different cookie shapes and watching the cookies as they bake in the oven!

Arjun Loves his Teddy Bear!

Arjun loves warm hugs and cuddles from us, and one of his favorite things to do is to cuddle with his stuffed animals, especially his teddy bears!  Here is a sweet video of Arjun playing with one of his favorite bears in the play room.  He is such a cute and cuddly, little hug-a-bear himself!  I love my little boy so much!

Happy Birthday Nani!

Nani's birthday was last Saturday, and since Arjun didn't get to talk to her like everyone else, he wanted to wish her a Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Nani, we love you!
