Hello Again San Francisco! Oh How We've Missed You!

Less than a week after we moved into our new house in Dallas, we took a family vacation to California as a baby moon and 5-year anniversary celebration as well!  Our trip started out in San Francisco.  We were so excited to go back and visit our old home and favorite hot spots in the city!

We were total tourists on this trip.  We stayed at The Fairmont on our first night and took Krish in the cable cars as our transportation around the city since he is so deep into his train phase right now.  He knew exactly what they were before the trip because of the model replicas he has at home from his first birthday party.  He calls them trolley trains and couldn't wait to get to San Francisco to ride on them!

Our view of the city and bay from the roof of The Fairmont.
Absolutely beautiful!

This particular cable car looks exactly like the one Krish has.

Krish had a blast riding the cable cars and constantly asked to ride on them again and again!  He really loves trains and felt so special riding in a fancy "trolley train" on our vacation.

In addition to visiting Union Square and riding in the cable cars, we couldn't wait to eat at our favorite restaurant hot spots and dessert places!  We visited North Beach/Little Italy and had Calzones for dinner on our first night.  We tried a new place called Urban Burger in the Mission District and of course revisited our favorite ice cream parlor in the whole world, Bi-Rite Creamery!  Upon sinking my teeth into a Ricanellas ice cream cone, I was immediately flooded with amazing memories of our experiences there.  If only I could have gotten Krish to try some.  For some reason, he is just not into ice cream!  Can you believe it?!  Well needless to say, we had the best time on our trip and miss San Francisco very much!
