In April we headed for our second vacation this year - Orlando, FL for a wedding. We were super excited about this trip because it presented an opportunity to take Krish to Disney World for the first time! And he was, in fact, the perfect age to enjoy and appreciate the world of Disney!
Raj Kaka and Nikhil Kaka joined us in Orlando and we couldn't wait to get to Disney World. Krish had the TIME OF HIS LIFE!!! He rode on all the trams and trains, which he calls "choo-cha train", the flying Magic Carpet Ride, which inspired him to listen to and love the song "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, the humongous carousel, which he calls "up and down", and the Winnie the Pooh ride. Although he absolutely loved all the rides, I think his favorite part was watching Mickey and Friends perform in front of the Castle, meeting all the Disney characters, and dancing with them in the parade!
It's hard to say, but there might not have been just one favorite for Krish. I actually think every part of Disney was equally fascinating and equally favored. At night, he was completely mesmerized by the fireworks display in front of the Castle and by the Electric Light Parade that runs through Main Street. It was Krish's first time ever to see fireworks! He couldn't get enough of them and was so disappointed when the show was over. Ever since our trip, he constantly asks to watch the video of the fireworks we took on our cell phone. The whole day was such a magical experience for all of us that I'm sure none of us can wait till we go back again!
