On Wednesday we headed to one of our all-time favorite places in the world: Half Moon Bay! Neil and I were so excited to revisit the quaint little town and peaceful, foggy beach of Half Moon Bay. Before we reached the beach, we stopped by in town to eat at an elegant little Italian restaurant called It's Italia. The pizza, basil pesto fettucini, and vegetable risotto were absolutely exquisite! For dessert we had a peach and blueberry cobbler a la mode and lavender Italian soda! Needless to say, the Italian food enthusiasts in us really enjoyed this experience! We are even spoiling our kids whose taste buds have come to appreciate these amazing flavors!
After lunch, we joined the Munshi's on the beach for a kids' photo shoot in their I heart SF shirts, playtime in the sand, and wave-jumping fun! This was Arjun's first time playing in the ocean and he was absolutely mesmerized! It was such a treat for us to see the kids enjoying themselves so much in the water!

After sadly learning that our favorite coffee shop, La Di Da Cafe, had closed, we made a usual stop at a farm-fresh produce stand and bought some fresh strawberries before heading out of Half Moon Bay. We spent the rest of the afternoon meeting up with Shah family members, Bhavna Didi, Avni, Payal, Vandana Bhabhi and Ketan Bhai at Anu's house with the Munshi's, Ankur and Kabu, CC Kaka, Bina Kaki, and the Mahadevan family for some family fun games and activities! We played pass the potato and the kids' favorite, freeze dance! The kids had the best time ever playing with all our family members, and everyone was excited for the upcoming reunion in Sonoma!

On Tuesday, we headed to Santa Cruz to show the kids the Mystery Spot, a neat place Vivek Kaka and Krishna Kaki introduced to us when we first moved out to the bay area, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk! Although we stopped off at the Mystery Spot first, all their tours were booked so we headed straight to the Beach Boardwalk to enjoy the rest of our day there. Of course the kids loved riding all the rides and swimming in an ocean inlet on the beach! This was Arjun's first time on the beach and he absolutely loved running on and playing in the sand! The next day we learned how much he loved the ocean waves when we went to Half Moon Bay! We also learned of Keshav's strong love for swimming and the ocean! His exuberance and passion rubbed off on his brothers and sister, and all the kids had a blast splashing in the water during this trip!

After our first weekend at Anu Foi's house, we spent the week with Vivek Kaka, Krishna Kaki, Keshav and Vidya touring all over the Bay Area and revisiting a lot of our favorite places from our time there together three years ago!
On the first day, Monday, we headed into the city of San Francisco to show the kids the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, Boudin Bakery, and Pier 39! Both Krish and Keshav had children's books to study up on San Francisco before our trip so they were well prepared for all the sights we saw! Krish's absolute favorites were the Golden Gate Bridge and Lombard Street!
