Happy Halloween 2011!
On Halloween Day, we took Krish to a Halloween Carnival where he went trick-or-treating, bounced in a bounce house, pet every animal in the petting zoo, went on a pony ride, and ate all the popcorn he could eat! Popcorn was his favorite treat this year and he called it "Kaw-korn". It was so sweet! Needless to say, I think Daddy, Mommy, and Krish had the best Halloween ever this year!

This year, Krish had the opportunity to dress up as several different characters. He was a cute little devil, thanks to Zena Foi. A surgeon, like Daddy, thanks to Tanya Masi. And a monkey, like Curious George, thanks to Daddy and Mommy. I think he liked them all! He was very cooperative and proudly wore his costumes all day!

Daddy's Surprise Birthday Party!
Thanksgiving 2010
It's been a while since I've updated our blog. We realized that November through February is the busiest time of year for the Shah Family. From Thanksgiving and Dad and Dada's birthdays to Christmas, New Year's, and Krish's birthday, we stay busy traveling, celebrating the holidays with family, and preparing for Krish's birthday party!
Therefore, now I am going back in time to Krish's very first Thanksgiving experience. We celebrated Thanksgiving at Anu and Rajiv's place with Lila Bhen and Diya Bhen and all of the cousins: Ankur, Vivek, Krishna and Roshan. We had a traditional Thanksgiving feast for the first time, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Of special note is Rajiv's delicious, baked macaroni dish. In addition to playing our traditional games - Guestures and Pictionary, Daddy and Vivek Kaka got to watch the Cowboys v. Saints game together!

Visiting Nani and Masis in Houston
Krish did so well in Houston!! Neil and I were so pleased. He slept well, napped well, went to bed on time and slept undisturbed at night! We were so happy that this trip opened the door to more travelling for our family.
Krish also had a blast in Houston, playing with Nani, Dada, Ba, his Masis, Pankaj Kaka, Mina Kaki, Halie Foi, and of course, Biscuit! It was so cute how he was crawling after Biscuit all the time. And as old as Biscuit is, Krish was in fact faster than him! I wish the video we took was small enough to post, but unfortunately it isn't.
Krish explored the whole house, stayed in Tanya Masi's room, and played the piano with Mama. He was also really happy to see all the Christmas decorations up at home - thanks to Nani and Tanya Masi, and he had so much fun playing with all the Christmas toys and tree.
Celebrating Daddy's and Dada's Birthdays!
While in Houston in November, we celebrated Daddy's and Dada's birthdays together at a Mexican restaurant in Clear Lake. Everyone was there! Dada, Ba, Nani, Pankaj Kaka, Mina Kaki, Halie Foi, Tanya Masi, Tricia Masi, Mama and Daddy. We were definitely missing Nana, Dada and Dadi though!
Krish had a great time listening to the mariachi band play "Que Sera Sera" for him, and he was totally fascinated with the Birthday Sombreros! It was a wonderful afternoon with family.
